About This Project

SRv6.md is an independent, community-driven, open-source educational resource. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any vendor, standards body, or organization, including but not limited to Cisco, Juniper Networks, Huawei, Nokia, the IETF, or any network operator mentioned in the content.

Content Policy

All content on SRv6.md is originally written by the contributors. We do not copy, reproduce, or redistribute copyrighted material from vendor documentation, white papers, presentations, or any other protected works.

Our approach:

  • Original explanations: All technical descriptions, tutorials, and guides are written in our own words based on publicly known technical facts and standards
  • RFC references: We reference and summarize IETF RFCs, which are published under the IETF Trust Legal Provisions that permit such use
  • Factual citations: When we mention real-world deployments, we cite publicly available press releases and announcements as factual references — we do not reproduce their content
  • Hyperlinks: We link to original sources so readers can access the authoritative material directly
